Widespread voting machine issues reported in Cambria, other counties

Widespread voting issues are being reported in precincts across Cambria County Tuesday morning.

6 News has spoke with voters who say the voting machines are unable to scan ballots.

Some precincts are reportedly putting cast paper ballots in lock boxes to be scanned at a later time.

Some precincts are reportedly telling voters to return later in the day once the machines are fixed.

6 News has reached out to the Department of State who directed us to the Cambria County Election Office.

They are unable to be reached Tuesday morning.

Some voting machine issues are being reported in Bedford County, officials there saying they are working on fixing the machines, but are keeping cast ballots in a lock box until they can be tabulated.
